About the Asian Business Center:

The Asian Business Center (ABC) was formed in 2007 by the leaders of the Asian Business Association of Los Angeles, Inc.  Its primary focus is on business education and training, research, scholarship, and economic development for the business community.  ABC serves as a forum for businesses to develop and grow.  It fosters the exchange of business ideas, best practices and opportunities to help these businesses achieve their goals.

ABC officially received its non-profit 501(c)3 status from the IRS on March 26, 2008.


ABC primarily partners with the Asian Business Association (ABA) to help execute on community outreach and programs.


In 2008, ABC received a statewide grant from the California Emerging Technology Fund to do primary research on the access of broadband in the small business community.


ABC is also on the receiving end of the California Teleconnect Fund


In 2009, ABC received a grant from Verizon Foundation to assist ABC with its programming.


ABC partnered with ABA to host seminars and workshops to educate the community.

On August 7, 2009, ABC received its minority certification from the Supplier Clearinghouse for the Utility Supplier Diversity Program of the California Public Utilities Commission as a Minority Business Enterprise.
